Here is the second Saturday surprise. I would like to give The Blogger for Positive Global Change to Crafty Green Poet. Her blog is here and she uses her poetry, reviews, and opinions to remind us of what is needed to keep our world a green and healthy place. The two parts of her blog I love the most are the crafts she shares using recycled materials (I already have a list of projects to do with students connected to writing in the fall. ) and her haiku. She is very deserving of this award.7/28/07

Thanks so much for the award and your nice comments about my blog! Congratulations for being awarded the Award yourself!
ReplyDeleteYour new bird bath is hysterical as well as practical!! I'll bet the birds will bring all their friends and family once they find it. Job well done! Love the flowers too.
ReplyDeleteI grew flowers so that I could cut bouquets but I find I can't bear to cut many. Yours was quite a pick-me-up.
ReplyDeleteGreat bird feeder! Perhaps you could also shine a light in its general direction at night, so as to cast a shadow, and get a great photo that would pass for a flying saucer, if framed just right.
ReplyDeleteCrafty Green Poet: you are welcome!
ReplyDeleteMarcy: The birds aren't quite as excited yet, maybe tomorrow. (:
Colleen: My husband follows me around and makes noises like he is dying if I cut too many- especially his favorites.
Starr: Great idea- that would really get the neighbors talking!
Oh, I love it. What a great idea. I can't wait to see some pictures with birds up there!
ReplyDeleteJackie: We are waiting. I don't think they know what it is yet. I wonder if a sign would help? :)
