Our August has been hot, smoky, and dry. What is amazing is there is still beauty every day amid our extreme weather and the fires surrounding us. Here are some images I have captured
that illustrate the beauty of August.

Love your August images. I’m struggling to find beauty in this smoky month when we’re forced to stay indoors and are constantly on edge due to the fires. It’s there though. I see it when I (briefly) step outside with the pups and take time to enjoy my ash-covered flowers, when I water the garden or pluck a ripe tomato from the vine, and on those brief times when I see blue sky—pure bliss.
