By the time I celebrate my 60th birthday I would like to:
Camp somewhere on the coast in the state of Washington.Invite all the special women in my life to gather around the table at my house on Lake Roosevelt for a week-end.
Visit The Thousand Islands between New York state and the province of Ontario.Take a train ride from Spokane to the end of Glacier National Park in Montana.
Return to Stanley and the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho.
Find other writers in my area and start a Writer's Group.
Visit Banff and Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada.Ride a bicycle on the Hiawatha Trail and Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes in northern Idaho.
Have a healthy body, mind, and soul so I can enjoy the next sixty years of life.
Strive to take the time each and every day to stop and appreciate the beauty of my world and reflect on my blessings.

Guess what? I will be going to the Thousand Islands a week from Wednesday! I have principals' meetings there. Even though they are during my spring break, I am looking forward to being there. I'll post pictures so you can enjoy the trip vicariously. Not the same, I know, but perhaps they'll whet your appetite even more!
